| WALCO-LINCK'S COMPANY

|
Nearly 75 years ago, German inventor Otto
E. Linck conceived the idea of putting food grade bait,
laced with various insecticides, into small, easy-to-handle
and easy-to-use containers which he called "The Ant Trap,"
or "TAT." As he expected, foraging ants took the poisoned
bait back to the nest, where it was consumed by the entire
colony-and the O. E. Linck Company was founded. |

|
|
In the early 1960's, the O. E. Linck Company
was purchased by Walcott Electronics, a producer of phonograph
needles-and this brought about the name "WALCO-LINCK." |
| |
|
|
While the company has manufactured and marketed
many different products over the years- (shark repellent,
phonograph needles, glitter for craft projects and children's
crayons, to name just a few!) the primary business today
is consumer insecticides. |
